I love the products, I’m just getting tired of everything beginning with “Windows Live…”
Would there be any confusion if it were just “Live…” so, maybe something like this:
Windows Live Writer = LiveWriter
Windows Live Search = LiveSearch
Windows Live Messenger = LiveMessenger
Windows Live Mail = LiveMail
Is that too simple? Why wouldn’t that work?

Sorry folks for being away so long. Spent the last week down in New Orleans helping rebuild some areas still devastated by Katrina. I ended up not having the wi-fi access I was expecting. Wasn’t there a lot of talk about citywide, free wi-fi?
I went downtown one night and picked up a wireless network labeled […]

Mr. Allen has recently sacked six staff employees from his party boat for drug use. His “rich boy toy” is also widely used by other celebrites and business people. Interestingly enough, he’s also extending his zero-tolerance policy to them as well.
I would guess that most of his concern is over the act itself of having […]

All organizations have a cat. If one isn’t adopted, a canny feline will find its way to HQ and adopt the CEO.
In the course of this blog’s researches into the many mysteries of Microsoft, one question couldn’t be ducked. What kind of cat chases the mice at Redmond? It would surely be […]

In a move not without controversy, Robert Scoble has shifted his Scobleizer blog from Radio.Weblogs to Wordpress.com. The controversy reared up over the special privileges he receives on the alpha-testing service. Matt Mullenweg, top brass at Wordpress, has admitted to personally hoisting Scoble’s famous header onto the site, a feature not available to other users, […]

There’s an amusing spoof over at ExtremeTech on the pretend scenario that Microsoft didn’t exist. Loyd Case imagines his day without the Beast of Redmond.
Interestingly, it’s not as wonderful as some might suppose. Software prices are very high ~ they’ve still got Wordstar, would you believe? Commodore remains a big player in the market, as […]
