I had a bit of a Xbox flashback on Sunday night as I ended up meeting with a college friend and since both of us had our wives out of town we decided to take advantage of the moment and play a bit of Halo. Notice I didn’t say Halo 3. We were playing the […]

I’ve finally heard back from Microsoft and they let me know that they’ve been able to fix the “known issue” I was experiencing that was keeping me from connecting to the Xbox LIVE service with my Xbox 360.
The only thing I’ve really done online at this point is to play a few games of […]

In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, late-night talk-show host Conan O’Brien shares with us his “Conan’s Strike Diary”, a survival guide.
I thought the entry for Day 37 was pretty funny:
I turn my back on TV and venture off into uncharted territory: Halo 3. I enthusiastically shoulder my rifle and begin my virtual campaign […]

My Xbox 360 arrived yesterday. I’m so swamped with stuff though that I haven’t even hooked it back up to the TV yet. I don’t think I’ll be getting to it this evening either, but at least I know it’s at home and waiting on me.
UPS left us a voice-mail message letting us know […]

I conquered Halo 3 last night and I’ve got to say it was a bit of a let down for me. Let me not confuse you, the game-play itself has been fun and I love the new additions of weapons, vehicles and enemies, but the ending itself was a little lackluster in my opinion.
Have you […]

The Halo 3 commercial above is in itself a great production. The music is great! They should totally be capitalizing on all of this and start making toys that are the same size and scale as G.I.Joe figures (the small ones). Of course I could just be saying that because I was a huge G.I.Joe […]

I finally picked up Halo 3 on Friday night. The graphics are impressive and game play has been improved dramatically in my opinion. One area of the graphics I think is a bit below par are some of the video sequences though. The character movements seem too rigid and distorted. Appendages don’t seem to bend […]

I’m so bummed! This week is absolutely nuts for me with my full-time job. Pile that on top of my other, personal client projects and my blogging and there’s just been no free time to pop Halo 3 in and play. The reason is that I’m sure if I started a game, I’d end up […]
