GridView Error - Visual Web Developer Express 2005

I’m getting the following error message when I try to insert a GridView control on my web project. I’m developing in Visual Web Developer Express 2005.
The error message states:
There was an error rendering the control.
Cannot access a disposed object. Object name: ‘ControlDesignerStateService’.
How do I fix that?
Also, prior to that error happening, I had received the following error in the browser when I tried to run the page. Not sure if they’re directly related to each other or not, but their proximity to each other on the timeline was very close.

I have come across the same problem and have not found the solution for it yet.

I think the problem is caused by editing the Gridview whilst trying to preview the web page.

That would make sense. I’ll have to keep an eye out for that one in the future and make sure I’m not trying to do that. Thanks!
