Office 12 “star of PDC05″
According to Softpedia, the upcoming version of MS Office, Office 12, was the star of this year’s Professional Developers Conference (PDC) in LA last week : “Featuring a series of radical changes, Office 12 not only looks good, but it also promises a better organization of the menus and submenus, which crowded the monitor. … Office 12 could become the revolution Microsoft needs to evolve.”
At present there’s no official beta version, and the hardware requirements are unknown. Taken together with a variety of graphics options, Office 12 may be a perfectly-integrated partner for Windows Vista. [Screenshots of Office 12 here]
Anyway, if Microsoft succeeds to stick to the promised schedule, 2006 could be a year to remember for the Redmond company. If not…then Microsoft will be in 2.5GB of trouble.
