Open Tasks in Thumbnail Overview Mode

I always forget this feature is available to me. Perhaps even more than that, I’m still somewhat startled every time I accidentally click my scroll-wheel to make the view appear.

Anyone out there actively use this view? What do you think? Isn’t it a lot like the big rage that Apple users are excited about in Leopard?

If I’m switching programs I just use the ALT+TAB function to quickly scroll through. I used to have a feature available (I think it was in TweakUI) that showed me a thumbnail of the application when I used ALT+TAB. I’m guessing a Windows update got rid of that.

1 opinion for Open Tasks in Thumbnail Overview Mode

OK, I’m not on Vista yet. Is this Vista? I know IE7 has Quick Tabs. I am looking for something that shows tab contents (or names) for all open windows in IE7. Has anyone made an add-on like this?

Just a little more info would be helpful. You can’t assume everyone knows what you mean by “thumbnail overview mode” as it sounds like that’s your term. (I googled it and found your post.) Thanks.
