Show Me Folder Size Information on Details View
Here’s another short software request.
When I’ve selected “Details” view for a directory of files I want the display to show me the total size of a folder’s files.
I realize the immediate draw back may be the time it would take for the window to determine the file size for all files in a directory and then display it, but I just think it would be really handy.
I know I can right-click on a folder and select “Properties” to get this information, but that’s an additional step that I don’t think should be necessary.
At the very least when I select a folder I should see the details of the folder, i.e. number of files and total file size in the “Details” panel on the left. Wouldn’t that make obvious sense to you?

Take a look at http://foldersize.sourceforge.net/
Won’t run under Vista, but for XP it works great.
