Microsoft Live Labs: Deepfish

I was hanging out with a friend last night and he had a new mobile browser on his phone called Skyfire. It looked very similar to the functionality of the iPhone browser in allowing you to select an area on the page and then zoom into it as needed. That was in beta and […]

Begin Exploring Internet Explorer 8

As I was reading through the WXPNews, another interesting article that Deb pointed me to was one written by Mrs. Microsoft, Mary Jo Foley.
The topic of discussion is what we may have to look forward to in IE8. From the looks of it, it appears that most of the changes are going to be under […]

Microsoft Purchases Firefox

It was bound to happen. When you’ve got that much money and someone that’s starting to cut into your market, you’ve just got to do something.
I’m not sure how I really feel though, I have been very pleased with IE7.

I uninstalled my original IE7 beta install. Maybe I should try it again since v3 is now available. Does anyone else have any experience with v3 yet? If so, let me know in the comments.

IE7 Beta 3

For anyone interested, looks like there’s going to be another beta version release of 3 sometime this summer. I’m not really interested really. Unless they shrink the UI along the top, it just doesn’t work for me. I’ve become greatly attached to Firefox and am more than happy with it, and if I want tabs […]

Windows Media Photo

What do you think? Is this really needed? Here are some opinions, then I’ll share my own:
“While the half the size of a JPG is interesting, it’s largely irrelevant in my opinion,” blogged Thomas Hawk, a San Francisco-based digital media enthusiast and author of the “Digital Media” blog. “Flash memory and hard drive storage cost […]
