Xbox 360 and Netflix Means You May Never Leave Your House

I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t use my Xbox 360 to the fullest extent possible with all the LIVE and media features. The challenge is that I barely take the time to even play games on my system. Why am I so busy?
The news today that LIVE subscribers will have access to […]

MSN Releases New Version of Toolbar

I’ll be honest, one of the toolbars I don’t use or have installed even is the MSN toolbar. I never did like the MSN interface back when I had MSN as my ISP on dial-up. Hated their browser navigation interface. I’d always make the connection with their program and then use the default Internet […]

It’s MINE! It’s Mine!

It’s been a sad state of affairs for the past year or more since someone that’s blogging about Microsoft hasn’t owned an Xbox 360. Those days are over folks, I received my Xbox 360 today from my mother-in-law. She’s a great woman and takes very good care of our family, particularly stylish clothes for our […]

Zune Email Newsletter

I signed up for the Zune newsletter quite awhile back when the original website first popped up with the weird guy and the rabbit.
I just received my first e-mail newsletter from that sign-up. Technology and coolness aside, Microsoft could learn something from Apple about how to create a buzz around something that’s not yet available.

Zune? You’ve got to be kidding

If you didn’t catch it already, in my absence my fearless tech channel editor Jon Watson, published a post about Microsoft’s “iPod killer”.
After visiting the site he referenced, www.comingzune.com, all I have to say is “What the heck is that?”
What is “Zune”? I’ve subscribed to their newsletter so maybe I’ll find out. If I had […]

Thomas Hawk Reviews Windows Media Player 11

Thomas Hawk provides some great user-experience insight into his opinions of Microsoft Media Player 11 beta.
If anyone is going to do a good job of testing the boundaries of an application to handle numerous (yeah, even tens of thousands) of files, it would be Thomas Hawk. Now, don’t think Thomas is reviewing this as a […]
