Microsoft Live Search Perks As Long As You’re Not Using Firefox

If you haven’t heard, Microsoft is now letting you earn money by using Microsoft Live Search instead of Google (or any other search site for that matter).
The only catch is that you also can’t be the type of person that uses Firefox (or any other browser except Internet Explorer) as their browser of choice.
To […]

NBC Olympics Website Uses Silverlight…or are they?

I’m really excited about the Olympics getting ready to start on 08.08.08. Even as simple as it is, I love the date it’s about to start.
One of the other things I’m looking forward to this year is the ability to really be able to enjoy the highlights of the various events that I […]

MSN Releases New Version of Toolbar

I’ll be honest, one of the toolbars I don’t use or have installed even is the MSN toolbar. I never did like the MSN interface back when I had MSN as my ISP on dial-up. Hated their browser navigation interface. I’d always make the connection with their program and then use the default Internet […]

Speeding Up Internet Explorer

Lots of tips coming around from PC Magazine again. Sorry folks, but I save these things in my Inbox and read through them when I feel it’s something that would help me out. If it helps me out, I figure there’s probably someone else that it may bring some joy to as well.
Sometimes when you […]

Microsoft Purchases Firefox

It was bound to happen. When you’ve got that much money and someone that’s starting to cut into your market, you’ve just got to do something.

Trying IE7 Again

I decided to try the IE7 beta again to see what’s improved. I really like it! I think they’ve done a better job of organizing and streamlining the default interface, although they have made it hard to really adjust it to even a more minimalist state like I prefer. I really try to shrink and […]

Domain Name Ownership - IE7.COM

How’d Microsoft let this one slip by? Wouldn’t you think they’d register pretty much any variation of a new project/application’s name?

It’s not what you’d expect.

IE7 Beta 3 Available

I uninstalled my original IE7 beta install. Maybe I should try it again since v3 is now available. Does anyone else have any experience with v3 yet? If so, let me know in the comments.

IE7 Beta 2 Released

I’ll be downloading and installing this on my computer this evening. I wasn’t really too pleased with my initial experiences of IE7 over IE6. It had tabs, but it did not implement them as well as Firefox does and the user functionality wasn’t much to talk about either. The user interface itself was too bulky […]
