I’m spinning WAY too many plates. The way I can tell is that Halo3: Recon is scheduled to come out next fall and right now I’m looking way to busy to be available to spend the required amount of time (at least 48hrs non-stop) to play this new release.
This new chapter in the Halo […]

There’s a new URL in town and you can get to it by going to http://my.live.com. If you were me, you’d see this when you went there.
That’s all cool, but then I was clicking around in my account and looking at my settings and when I clicked on “Home” (http://home.live.com) I saw this:
Are […]

I love the products, I’m just getting tired of everything beginning with “Windows Live…”
Would there be any confusion if it were just “Live…” so, maybe something like this:
Windows Live Writer = LiveWriter
Windows Live Search = LiveSearch
Windows Live Messenger = LiveMessenger
Windows Live Mail = LiveMail
Is that too simple? Why wouldn’t that work?

Microsoft now has a stand alone blogging application available for download. Windows Live Writer is now available and performs the same tasks as other 3rd party blogging application like Qumana, Blogdesk, etc. Contrary to what you may think, you don’t have to use it with Windows Live Spaces, but it obviously works there. It does […]

Microsoft Live OneCare debuted at #2 in sales according to a study by The NPD Group. How is it that Microsoft can be so hated in the media, but they can come out of the gates with this kind of a turn-out with a brand new product in an already established software niche like anti-virus? […]

Was just playing around with Windows Live Local. Sure it’s a lot like Google Maps / Google Local, but the clarity on Microsoft’s Live Local is very impressive. The picture below is a screen capture looking at my house. I’m zoomed in the closest I can get on both services.
Google is on the left, […]

Microsoft will be launching the 360 in India sometime around October.
“We will be in India before our competition has launched in any other market,” he said, referring to rival video game industry leader Sony Corp.’s (6758.T) planned debut in the United States of its PS3 in November.
“It is estimated there are 1.6 million gamers in […]

The replacement for the MSN Messenger client has arrived. You can now dowload the Windows Live Messenger IM client for your own use. It’s still “beta”, but I’m beginning to think that word has taken the place of “e-” everything just for a marketing kick. But do try at your own risk.
I personally don’t rely […]

It’s a good night! Downloading the latest version of IE7 beta 2 to see if they’ve fixed some things that irritated me in the initial go around. Will play around with that later.
Received another e-mail earlier this evening inviting me to take part in the Windows Live OneCare Perpetual Beta. I’ve been more than very […]
