To Upgrade or Not to Upgrade
Check-out the new poll.
I’m curious to know if you were only able to upgrade to one thing in 2007, which would you choose? Office 2007 or Microsoft Vista?
Let me know!

[…] Jason Bean at b5 Media’s The Unauthorized Microsoft Weblog is running an interesting poll. If you had to choose the one upgrade you’d most like to have in 2007, which would it be? I’m rather surprised to see Vista running away with 2/3 of the votes (granted there are only a few cast so far). For people on a budget, this may be a real choice they’ll have to make next year. […]

Vista. I’ve been looking forward to media center being included in the OS. (Yeah, you can buy new HW with media center now, but I’m not quite ready for new HW and prefer WinXP-pro for my current builds)

Office 2007. Vista will to many problems, the same way XP did when it came out.

As Office is being a bit of a pain (more so than Vista) on my Tablet, I’ll take Vista.

Would have to be Office first. This is the only program that would run decently on my computer.

Office 12 is a an inovative upgrade with a multitude of useful features that make the program more efficient and productive. This would be my choice over a new operating system, even with security issues as much of concern as they are.

Office 12 is the FIRST piece of MS software that I’ve ever been impressed with. At long last a piece of software delivers what users want and not just what Redmond are willing to provide.

The Office 12 UI is very nice, but it still doesn’t have a lot of new features. Vista has tons of new features, so I’d choose Vista.
