Okay, here’s a quick question for the masses. Is the limit of available RAM on a machine really what the manufacturer says? For example, every machine I own has two RAM slots and each of them can hold 1GB chip for a max of 2GB total on the machine.
Is that really the limit? If I could get 2GB chips, would the machine recognize it? Would it break the machine?
