Windows Mobile Memory Usage
Why is it, that on my Pocket PC phone running Windows Mobile, every application I’ve opened doesn’t actually close. I’m guessing at some point it closes on it’s own, but I’m not sure. I can only say that unless I go into the memory management in “Settings” and tell it or all of the programs to stop running?
This seems like a huge waste of resources to me.
The image above isn’t from my own phone, I just looked at mine and there were probably 15+ programs running before I clicked “Stop All”
Someone please shed some light on that for me.

TranCreative’s Magic Button is a task bar replacement for Windows Mobile that *really* closes applications when you press the close button: http://www.trancreative.com/mb.aspx
