XBOX Live Goes Through Interface Re-Design
Have you seen the new XBOX Live interface design changes? What do you think? I think there’s a little too much of the avatars looking like the Nintendo Wii’s Miis.

Did it need a redesign? Was it falling behind, or just out-dated and in need of a refresh? Were the changes worth it?
I haven’t received the update yet so I’m wondering what anyone else may think that may have gotten updated already through the dashboard.

Have you not seen screen shots of the new UI coming next month? Blades are out… I think I’m a little scared of the upcoming update. Check out Paul Thurrott’s site — screen shots at bottom - http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/xbox360_newx_preview.asp - I’m sure this update on the site was in preparation for the launch of the update

Even though they do look similar, the Xbox Avatars are better than the crappy Wii Miis. At least by look and customization. Though I do wish they put more graphical realism into the avatars like the way PlayStation Home will do it.

I don’t know why everyone is so scared about it. So it’s an update to the UI….big deal. Everyone will get used to it. Bitch and moan all you want but it’s coming and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. I can’t believe all the negative hype it’s created on other sites. I can’t see where it would affect the way you play games, which is the systems primary function anyway. So unless you absolutely live on your dash board (you have problems if you do, and need to get a social life) it won’t be that big of a deal.

Senor, yeah I’m not sure why there’s quite so much hubbub about it all.
